Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery Release Date Online

Benoît Blanc is back to solve another complicated murder case in the 2019 sequel to Knives Out, Glass Bow: Mystery of Knives Out.

The film is about a tech billionaire named Miles Bron who invites a group of friends to his private island through convoluted puzzles. Upon their arrival, they see that he has played an elaborate detective game for fun, but Benoit Blanc seems to think there might be something more dangerous.

The Glass Bow had a limited theatrical release at the end of November, but the film is no longer available to watch on the big screen. Instead, it will appear on one of the major streaming services just in time for the holiday period.

When will Glass Onion be available for streaming?

Glass Onion will be released exclusively on Netflix December 23, 2022.

Plans for Netflix start at just $6.99 / £4.99 now that the service has introduced its Basic with Ads tier – you can read which plan is right for you if you don’t already have a subscription.

Will Glass Onion be released on DVD, Blu-ray or VOD?

As of now, we have not heard of any plans by Netflix to distribute Glass Onion for home release, either digitally or physically.

This is not something Netflix usually does, which is why we assume it won’t be available on stores like Amazon, Google Play, and iTunes. However, if we hear otherwise, we will update this article.

How to watch Knives Out

If you want to make the first Knives Out movie, you either need to rent it or buy it on DVD or VOD. In the US and UK, the film is not available for streaming on any major service (it wasn’t a Netflix exclusive like Glass Onion).

It’s worth noting that you can easily watch Glass Bow without seeing Knives Out. Daniel Craig’s character Benoit Blanc does appear in both, but the events of the first film are only mentioned in passing. What can I say, brilliant film.
