Get a 50″ Toshiba 4K Fire TV and doorbell for less than £300
Buying a 50-inch 4K TV usually means parting with a lot of money, but that’s not the case now if you live in the UK.
That’s because Toshiba is offering its UF3D Fire TV for just £299 – a £100 savings over the regular asking price and the first major discount we’ve seen since it launched in September. But Amazon and Argos are sweetening the deal by including a free Ring Video Doorbell 2 (usually £89.99), for a total savings of £189.99, or 38%.
This bundle expires November 14th, so hurry up if you want to upgrade your smart home. But what if a 50-inch TV doesn’t fit in your living room?
Fortunately, Toshiba will also help you. The 43-inch model of the exact same device is reduced to its lowest price with an £80 rebate and you still get a free video doorbell. Priced at £269, that’s £169.99 less than what you’d normally pay for both. Again, this is available through Amazon or Argosand expires November 14th.
As their names suggest, both TVs have built-in Fire TV. This gives you easy access to a range of providers, streaming services, and even games, both with a remote control and hands-free with Alexa.
Amazon’s voice assistant can also be used to control the Ring Video Doorbell 2, which remains a great home security option three years after its release. It provides motion notifications, 1080p real-time video, two-way communication and night vision, all in a battery-powered device.
You have the option to pay for extra features with a Ring Protect subscription (starting at £3.49/month or £34.99/year), but this is by no means mandatory.
Unfortunately, these TVs are not available in the US. However, there are often Ring Video Doorbell deals on Amazon US.
