Blinkit partners with Apple Reseller Unicorn to deliver iPhone 14 to Delhi and Mumbai

Blinkit, a fast food delivery company, is now partnering with Unicorn to ship the iPhone 14. The e-commerce firm announced a new collaboration with Apple reseller Unicorn on Friday. However, iPhone 14 shipping will be limited to Delhi and Mumbai for the time being. The new iPhone 14 series (except iPhone 14 Plus), Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) began sales in India today, with pre-orders for these products open on September 9th. Apple’s latest iPhone lineup was announced at the Far Out event on September 7th.

In an official announcement on Friday via Twitter, quick commerce company Blinkit told users that it is partnering with Apple product reseller Unicorn to ship iPhone 14 models. According to the post, shipping of these iPhone models will currently only be limited to two Tier 1 cities – Delhi and Mumbai.

According to Blinkit founder Albinder Dhindsa, the company will deliver iPhone 14 models to customers within minutes. Users will need to update Blinkit to the latest versions on iOS and Android to take advantage of this feature.

Delivery times for iPhone 14 models and accessories will be limited to Unicorn Store opening hours. The app also reveals that the iPhone 14 Plus models will be available for purchase starting October 7 as Apple delayed the release of the model. While Apple has fixed the iPhone 14 starting price at Rs. 79,900, iPhone 14 Plus will be available at a starting price of Rs. 89 900.

Blinkit, formerly known as Grofers, has been acquired by online food delivery platform Zomato for Rs. 4450 crores in June this year. Meanwhile, Apple launched the iPhone 14 series — iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max — on September 7, along with the Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch SE (2nd generation). Apple began selling new products other than the iPhone 14 Plus starting September 16th.
