Consulting on buying mid-range phones

Mid-range devices tend to be a mixture of full-fledged, competitively priced flagships, more affordable members of the same product family as the company’s top-end devices with lower performance, or a dedicated device designed to provide certain premium feature (s). class without breaking the bank.

Deciding which one best suits your needs depends on a number of factors. If you want impeccable performance, the former flagship will be better for you, but will likely suffer faster from diminishing software support than the less powerful but newer, dedicated mid-range compatriots.

Flagship phones will try to offer product lines as close as possible to truly top-notch offerings, but will likely skimp on the available processor and / or RAM. While dedicated midsize manufacturers do not strive for success based on their price point, save for one or two key areas chosen by the manufacturer.

As always, buying from trusted phone manufacturers is always your way to go, even if it means paying a little more for a phone with similar specs. Larger companies’ products tend to meet higher quality standards, and if something goes wrong, they are likely to offer more reliable customer support.

How to find offers

If you want to buy the phone directly and not by contract, Amazon offers some of the best deals, but make sure you check the specs carefully – third-party sellers sometimes use Amazon to move international inventory, which may differ slightly from what you find locally.

If you find yourself missing Amazon Lightning dealsthat only run a few hours and offer a limited range, we recommend subscribing to Amazon 30-day free trial Prime, which will give you access to trades 30 minutes earlier than everyone else.
