Apple is now expanding into Apple Creative Studios, offering new opportunities to creative young people
Select Apple Store around the globe will host all new Creative Studios sessions open to the local community
CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA Apple has unveiled plans to bring its Today Creative at Apple Creative Studios initiative to even more creative young people from underrepresented communities around the world. The expanded program offers tutoring, training and resources for career growth in a wide range of artistic disciplines, which now include new curricula in app design, podcasting, space audio production and film. This year, Creative Studios will launch in seven new cities, including Nashville, Miami, Berlin, Milan, Taipei, Tokyo and Sydney. He will also return for his second year in Chicago; Washington, DC; New York City; London; Paris; Bangkok; and Beijing.

Apple Store locations in selected cities are also publicly hosted today in Apple Creative Studios sessions. New this year, Creative Studios New York provides mentoring, insight, and resources to women and non-binary creatives while conceptualizing applications to drive social impact.
Books & Storytelling (Miami, Washington)
Creative young people in Washington hone their skills in creative writing and visual storytelling while creating their own books, audiobooks and storyboards. In Miami, Apple joins fellow O, Miami community in a program for emerging artists BIPOC + to discover the narrative through the creation of micro audiobooks.
Music, Radio and Podcasts (Berlin, Nashville, Chicago, Paris)
Aspiring musicians in Berlin learn about radio production while exploring belonging themes with the guidance of inspiring mentors, working closely with Refuge Worldwide and Open Music Lab. In Nashville, in collaboration with the National Museum of African American Music, the program will specialize in spatial audio recording giving participants access to Apple Music studios. In Paris, participants build skills in creative storytelling, audio engineering and recording through a new programming focused on podcasting. And in Chicago, creative young people from the Southwest Side will amplify their own narratives and stories around the theme of belonging and identity through an experience focused on radio production and audio / video experimentation.
Art and Design (Taipei, Milan)
Creative Studios in Taipei and Milan connect mentors with aspiring young designers as they explore identities while designing, creating and promoting content that represents themselves and their communities. In Milan, participants have the opportunity to create an inclusive media landscape through a program that celebrates the diversity of fashion, art and design led by Afro Fashion, while the Taipei program creates a safe space for young people. to explore gender and identity through. creativity. These programs guide participants through production, provide mentoring and inspiration, and create access to resources and insights from the design industry.
Photography, Film, and TV (London, Sydney, Beijing, Tokyo, Bangkok)
Participants in London and Sydney will discover identity, culture and representation while creating short documentaries and building skills in filmmaking, directing and editing, with feedback and insight from established artists. In Beijing and Tokyo, participants will receive professional guidance to immerse themselves in photography and videography as a means of telling their stories. In Bangkok, Apple is joining the Saturday School Foundation community partner for a second year, giving young creatives the opportunity to explore a wide range of Apple-led sessions taught by Apple’s Creative Pro team. This in-store six-week program focuses on photography and music creation.
