Apple is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Steve Jobs’ death with a special homepage hijack on its website, which houses the company’s co-founder’s old memories. The homepage welcomes visitors with a short video of Jobs’ photos and inspirational quotes. There is also a statement from the Jobs family in which they express their loss. The Apple co-founder died at his home in Palo Alto, California in 2011 – several years after he contracted neuroendocrine cancer.
V special home page capture Apple.com shows a montage of various monochrome images of Jobs with overlaid text: “Glory to Steve.” Apple also included a link to a nearly three-minute video showing Jobs’s old memories, as well as his voiceover featuring some of the executive’s most memorable quotes.
Scrolling down a bit, you’ll see a statement from the Jobs family from his memory. “For ten years now, mourning and healing have been going together. Our gratitude has become as great as our loss, ”it says.

Each of us has found our own path to comfort, but we come together in a beautiful place to love Steve and what he taught us.
Despite all of Steve’s gifts, his strength as a teacher has remained unchanged. He taught us to be open to the beauty of the world, be interested in new ideas, look into the next corner and, above all, remain humble in the minds of newcomers.
We still see a lot with his eyes, but he also taught us to look for ourselves. He gave us the equipment to live in, and it has served us well.
One of the greatest sources of comfort was that we associate Steve with beauty. The sight of something beautiful – a wooded hillside, a well-made object – reminds us of its spirit. Even in the years of suffering, he never lost faith in the beauty of existence.
Memory is not enough for what is in our hearts: we miss it a lot. We were lucky that he was a husband and a father.
Although it has been ten years since Jobs passed away in October 2021, the industry still remembers this executive for the ups and downs he faced in his professional life.
