2023 Motorola Razr Models Unveiled, May Have Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, 144Hz Display

The Motorola Razr 2022 recently debuted in China powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and the phone is expected to debut in global markets in the coming days. A new whistleblower leak now suggests that the Lenovo-owned company will launch two additional Motorola Razr models in 2023. Alleged foldable phones have been spotted codenamed “Juno” and “Venus”. The phones are expected to follow the Motorola Razr 2022 launch. The specifications of the foldable device, codenamed Juno, have been leaked online.

According to well-known leaker Evan Blass (Twitter: @evleaks), the Juno model that should follow the Motorola Razr 2022 could be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Meanwhile, he suggested that the Juno model will also feature a refresh rate display 144 Hz. The tipster did not share the specs of the foldable smartphone, codenamed Venus.

Blass also recently hinted at the imminent global launch of the Motorola Razr 2022, which is currently only available in China, through a tweet that leaked marketing images of the smartphone with text on the alleged phone screen in English instead of Chinese.

Motorola Razr 2022 launched in China with a starting price of 5,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 70,000) for the base 8GB + 128GB storage variant. However, there is currently no word on Lenovo-owned company plans to launch the smartphone globally or how much it will cost in global markets.

The recently launched Motorola Razr 2022 features a 6.7-inch foldable main OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, as well as a 2.7-inch secondary OLED display that lets you access notifications. Motorola’s foldable smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The smartphone is equipped with a 50MP dual rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) as well as a 32MP selfie camera located in the center hole on the main display. The phone packs a 3500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. There are also Dolby Atmos surround speakers and a 3-mic array.
