Actress Kate Beckinsale he told the Sunday Times she “p —- d off” when people assume she has had Botox.
The 47-year-old told the outlet aging without wrinkles tends to run in her family, so she didn’t feel the need to make injections.
“I did p —- d off. It’s kind of a fact that I had it, which I didn’t literally have,” Beckinsale said.
While not opposed to others taking cosmetic procedures, Beckinsale said her mother’s fears revolved around receiving facials or injections when she was growing up with her.
The actress also said she is afraid of receiving an annoying injection if she has ever received a stroke.
“I’ll be the one to keep my eyes peeled,” he told the publication.
Insider previously stated that improperly placed Botox injections can cause eyelid ptosis, or droopy eyelids, when the wrong eyelid muscle becomes paralyzed during an injection, rather than the forehead.
The only way to treat ptosis is to wait for a few weeks or months or get prescribed eye drops called Upneeq to support the healing process.
