Jefferson Health CEO Dr. Stephen Clasco will retire December 31, the system said Thursday.
Clasco, who served as president of Thomas Jefferson University and headed the health care system for eight years, will remain special advisor to the board of trustees until the end of fiscal 2022, the system said.
“I am most proud of the people at Jefferson who have proven themselves as heroes over the past 18 months. Together, we have rethought what health, education and research can be in the future, and I believe Jefferson is moving forward to spearhead this revolution, ”Clasco said in a press release.
