Glitches and gimmicks for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild keep popping up, don’t they? Latest, from the prolific glitch enthusiast channel The new invention of gamesallows you to take your horse to places it has never been before: a mountain full of hot, blazing lava.

The trick essentially allows you to semi-permanently freeze your horse, thus making it immune to the unbearable heat in the Elden region. As described in the video below, you will need to head towards the Forest Tower, jump off and use your glider to descend to the area next to the Forest Stable. It is not clear whether this is Only a place where you can use the trick; most likely you can do it anywhere, but this seems to be the most reliable place.

Before you run out of stamina drain, you will need to aim an ice arrow at a nearby horse (you will probably have to position the horse yourself before attempting this) and freeze it. You will then fall into the water and drown (hooray!), but after that you will find that the horse remains frozen and will continue to do so until it dies of some other cause.

This means that you will now be able to take your horse to the Elden region and climb Death Mountain completely immune to the effects of extreme heat. You can even drive right up to the store in Goron City, although why you need to do so is another matter entirely.
