Which character would you like to see next in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?

Armed with the knowledge that there are still many returning riders ahead, we immediately began browsing the back catalog of past Mario Kart games, reminding ourselves which familiar faces have yet to appear in MK8D. To our surprise and delight, there are actually a whole bunch of them, including the Kong family (Diddy, Funky Jr., Dixie), Honey Queen, Pauline and many others.

Now we don’t know if these drivers will be added on a Wave-by-Wave basis, with only one new face each time, but that won’t stop us from picking the ones we’d most like to see – and we thought you could do the same.

Below we have compiled a list of all the characters that have appeared in the Mario Kart game, but Not in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. We skipped all the outfit options from the Mario Kart Tour to focus only on the characters themselves, so don’t expect to see the likes of Musician Mario – though leave a comment if there’s a specific outfit you’d like to see.
