Where should the next Pokémon Legends game take place?

It’s hard to believe, but Pokémon Legends: Arceus turns one year old today. This Pokemon game took us back in time and completely changed the formula of what we all expected from the main Pokemon game. And frankly, we want more of what he has given us.
Legends: Arceus sees you being transported back in time to the Hisui region, which would later become known as the Sinnoh region, thanks to the local Pokémon god Arceus. The game discards many traditional Pokémon mechanics and introduces various new features, but the hunt to grant Arceus’ wish to “see all Pokémon” (obviously this god can give you a phone in the Pokémon world) is the ultimate goal. This is no longer just catching and fighting – you are a full-fledged Pokémon explorer.
Okay, being in command of PokéGod is one thing, but if a new Legends style game was to take place, where would we want it to take place? And what pokemon will we bet on? The Nintendo Life editorial team has their own idea of where and what will be the star of the “next” Legends game.
So, from the sublime to the ridiculous, here are our thoughts…
“Pokémon Legends: Floette” – Kalos (Alana Haig, staff writer)

Pokémon X and Y aren’t my favorite generation of Pokémon, but I can’t deny that Kalos is a fantastic region and has one of the most intriguing – and frankly dark – stories of all Pokémon. Pokémon Legends: Floett is exactly what Kalos needs to concretize knowledge. But why Floetta and not Zygarde or Xerneas?
Floett is a Fairy-type flower Pokémon that is especially fond of A.Z., a mysterious (and very tall) person you meet on Route 13. You will learn that A.Z. actually over 3,000 years old, and the former king of Kalos during the huge Pokémon War. His cherished companion was Floatt, who died in the war and was later brought back to life by A-Z, who then ended the conflict using the Ultimate Weapon. That’s pretty much everything we know about the Kalos War, so it has amazing potential for a Legends game.
Flott from the past may call you to stop the war before AZ himself stops it. Your starting Pokémon can be anythingbut to try and diversify it, I think Tritsko, Fennekin and Piplup (all with new final forms) would work – Game Freak. please let the Fennekin line stay on all fours. Regional options could be more adapted to the fighting. Medics, spies and all sorts of fighters can inspire some forms and evolutions. And instead of focusing on catching, it could be even more focused on RPGs and stats than real mainstream entries.
I’m not sure The Pokémon Company will ever take on a mainstream Pokémon game that focuses on war, but there are completely different ways to get around it – for example, you can be a spy or a peacekeeper. I just want to know more about Kalos.
Pokémon Legends: Kyogre – Hoenn (Jim Norman, staff writer)

The Pokémon Ruby was my first love and the Hoenn region still stands in my memory as one of the best. Not only is it full of some of my favorite beasts, but it also sets up perhaps my favorite legendary storyline with Kyogre and Groudon squabbling being pacified by the peacekeeper Rayquaza.
This is a land that, if you go back in time, is full of conflicts (pfft, which region of pokemon is not?), but it’s also one in which the Legendaries are brimming with natural power. Which of the three will take the title place is a slightly more complicated question. Rayquaza is an obvious choice, calling on a hero from the future to help in the war between Groudon and Kyogre, but it might be interesting to focus on one of the two – a legendary one that’s so stuck in its path that you’re forced to wonder if their trades are real. are correct.
Perhaps the sea is the way here. After all, this generation brought these top-notch dive sequences with them, and the thought of having this mechanic in a big open world can be really something special. Pokémon Legends: Kyogre has a certain sound to it, I suppose.
Pokémon Legends: Dragonite – Kanto (Ollie Reynolds, staff writer)

I’ll be really boring and just say Kanto from Pokémon Red and Blue. I love Kanto; it’s still my favorite region, and yes, I fully admit that it speaks of nostalgia. However, if there is one region whose origins I would like to explore, it is this one.
Now, there’s definitely a little problem with Kanto that some other regions may not share, and that’s the fact that there just aren’t many natural attractions that really make it stand out; at least not compared to Mount Coronet Sinnoh. You have a bunch of caves, a couple of forests, islands of sea foam and… is that all? Everything else unique to Kanto is man-made, like the Safari Zone, the Bike Path, SS Anne… So yes, although it’s hardly the most interesting region geographically, I would still like to visit it. revise.
As for the Pokémon chosen, I think the obvious one is Mew, but Mew has already died, right? I think maybe something that to me seems to belong to Kanto and has just the right amount of mysticism to make for some interesting origin stories. Like Dragonite? This thing is a beast, and I would like to delve into how it came into existence and behaved before humans ruled the roost.
Pokémon Legends: Regis – Hoenn (Kate Grey, staff writer)

I’m also going to pick Hoenn because I think Ruby and Sapphire are the best games, but I think instead of Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza as legendary characters at the base of the story, Legendary Titans, Regirock, Regice and Registeel would instead be (plus Regieleki, Regidrago and Regigigas, why not).
Hoenn has one of the coolest storytelling in the Pokémon series, so I’d also happily pick Guardians of the Lake, Wuxie, Mesprit, and Azelf, but I think the Regs are interesting because I want to dive into them. In Ruby and Sapphire, you find them in a hidden underwater chamber, with cryptic Braille messages instructing you where to go and how to summon Regis, and it’s like a long-hidden secret, like a doomsday device you shouldn’t have found. Something people were afraid of.
Of course, in Pokemon games, they turn out to be just creatures that you can capture and call “Fluffy” if you want – but imagine a game set in the distant past, when the Legendary Titans shook the ground and created havoc. when they were first sealed by the ancient people of Hoenn. And with Regigigas as their terrifying leader, you have a simple plot setup: defeat or subdue the rampaging titans to gain clues to the whereabouts of their master and creator. Wouldn’t that be cool?
