What are you playing this weekend? (January 8)

The first week of 2022 passed, and it was relatively calm, everyone returned to their business. However, there were some more interesting details, such as the revelation that the herb production was a little painful for the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity team. Elsewhere, we had Metacritic listing the top-rated Nintendo games in 2021, the PlayStation store in China got Mario and Bowser on board, and someone else performed the Undertale track for Dad. Yes, this is going to be an odd year, but at least it looks like an awesome 12 months to play on Switch.

Anyhoo, it’s time to relax and discuss our game plans for the weekend. a few mthe Nintendo Life team members have done just that below, so feel free to read our entries and then join your own via our comment section. Enjoy!

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve added a ridiculous amount of games to my backlog thanks to sales, and naturally I haven’t played any of them because my Blasphemous save file is still 88.35% full. I’m determined to get it to 100 before moving on to something else, so this is the number 1 priority this weekend.

Assuming I’m ready for the challenge, I have Down In Bermuda, Full Metal Furies, Katamari Damacy: Reroll, Saints Row 4, Sine Mora EX, Giana Sisters: Perverted Dreams and Red faction guerrilla re-marstered to refuel shortly thereafter – all of this will be ignored if the postman pulls out his finger and finally delivers the awesome Lego Sonic set I ordered a week ago. Everyone from 2022!

I’m not as crazy as some of the sales, but I picked a couple of cheeky games to tackle. The main one at the moment is Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, I’m very early, but I accept the oddities. I also got Figment on the deal, so I’ll try to get through that before the sequel comes out.

In the other place i raised NieR Replicant 1.2247 etc.; as a big fan of Automata, I look forward to seeing what this predecessor / remaster has to offer.

New year, new games – and this weekend I’ll play the same [REDACTED] how can I fit in two days. No, if you are wondering – this is not [REDACTED]and it is not [REDACTED] or. Someone else is considering them. However, I can promise you that it is very good! Get HYIP!

The first week of 2022 is over! I didn’t play as much on Christmas as planned, but completed the first NieR Replicant route and I am already on my way to completing Route B. As for Nintendo, I actually started The House in Fata Morgana after picking it up at the holiday sale – for those who doesn’t know, for a while it was the highest rated game on Metacritic (ever) and to be honest I have no arguments. I’m still at the beginning, but the presentation itself, the depth of the storytelling, and the writing twists and turns are far ahead of other forms of interactive storytelling.

I was also revisiting the PAC-MAN 99, which I adored at launch, but admittedly stopped playing shortly after. The number of players is noticeably less than in Tetris, so sometimes it can take up to a minute to find a game, but when you start playing, it will be difficult to stop. It may not have the resilience of Tetris, but it’s a brilliant game to kill time.

I was able to get my hands on the Switch OLED model this week, so this weekend I will spend quite a bit of time trying out some of the classics like Luigi’s Mansion 3, Super Mario Odyssey and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze to see what they look like. … on this gorgeous new screen.

Otherwise, I relaunched the incredible Disco Elysium: The Final Cut. I had to go through some of them for a review, so I’m really taking my time to soak up everything it has to offer this time around. When I’m done, it may well be on my favorites list; the music is just gorgeous!

2022 seems like the date one would expect in a science fiction novel. However, this is our Gift, a great Gift for video game fans. An unexpected late arrival from the Far East just before Christmas meant that I was finally enjoying the East and re-watching the horrors of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. The online store is already releasing gems early as crumble, too much.

Game of the Week – Megaton Musashi. I was afraid that the language barrier would diminish my enjoyment of the game, but my fears were quickly dispelled after the first learning in the game. Might have to jump into anime soon!

As always, thanks for reading! Don’t forget to leave us a comment below with your game plans for the weekend!
