Easter is just around the corner! Or egg day. Call it whatever you want. Actually, it’s just an excuse to eat chocolate and play video games, right? Did you check out our Indie Spotlight review earlier this week? Well, below we will give you another chance. After last week Zelda bomb, otherwise it was a bit quieter. Nintendo has announced that next week the Switch Online Expansion Pass will begin with Mario Golf. Have you noticed that Nintendo also re-releases some games for the 3DS? And if our review is to be believed, we think LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga might just be the best LEGO game ever.

Now it’s time to relax and discuss our game plans for the weekend. several metersmembers of the Nintendo Life team have done just that below, so feel free to read our entries and then join in with your own through our comment section. Enjoy!

The baseball season has started, so it’s basically another Christmas for me. I’ll likely do Road to the Show on MLB The Show 22 on Switch during many commercial breaks when I watch the Cubs; it’s perfect for that!

When I’m not obsessed with baseball, I’ll continue with my Triangle Strategy walkthrough, which was fantastic. I also need to finish Kirby and the Forgotten Land, so that being said, it’s going to be an amazing gaming weekend.

This weekend, I’ll be delving into some of the best point-and-click games for Switch following the stunning announcement of the all-new Monkey Island game. I started with Thimbleweed Park and will move on to The Darkside Detective and its sequel when I’m done. I hope we see the classics monkey island Switch titles ahead of sequel, but who knows? One can dream…

Otherwise, I don’t have much to do this weekend. I shut up Halo Infinite on Legendary difficulty, but it took a backseat for a few weeks after one of the boss fights just bored me out of the experience. I can come back to this if I get stuck.

This weekend I’m going to watch my partner play Skyward Sword again (maybe we’re nearing the end? Hard to say) and play Kirby and the Forgotten Land for a bit more. I’ve also bought a ton of DS games since the news of the 3DS webshop closing, so I should probably try those as well. And maybe some AI: The Somnium Files that I started the other day… It’s going to be a busy gaming weekend!

After taking a short break to visit my partner, I have a few things to report and play this weekend. We took Kirby and the Forgotten Land and played most of the game in co-op, which is a real pleasure. Now I have a difficult task to finish the game and 100% – alone. Shouldn’t be too hard! For now, I can stay away from gachapon machines long enough. We have also finally completed Chapter 2 of Deltarune. I’m a big fan of Undertale and I liked chapter 1, but I think chapter 2 is the best we’ve seen from Toby Fox.

As for this weekend specifically, other than Kirby, it’s time for Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition. Or, more precisely, Radical Dreamers. I played Chrono Cross before, but the text adventure is completely new to me, as it is to many others, so I have to see how it adds to the lore of the series.

My game plans for this weekend: I will continue my monster-slaying journey in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and also play LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga with my fiancée.

I’m still trying to find the time to complete Kirby and the Forgotten Land, but something’s getting in the way. Maybe I’ll work on the Winter Horns this weekend?

There were some quiet awesome things in the online store last week that I plan to continue this weekend. Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge is a spiritual sequel to a ZX Spectrum game I once played, and Agent Intercept is the embodiment of your wildest spy hunter fantasies. But if you like Contra/Probotector (and you certainly do), the real highlight is Super Cyborg, the greatest Contra NES game Konami has ever made.

Game of the week – LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Nostalgia is a powerful feeling, so if you mix LEGO slapstick humor with a war a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, I assure you I’ll be playing it even longer than Triangle Strategy.

This weekend I really want to spend some time on Triangle Strategy, Kirby and the Forgotten Earth and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. I’ve been really busy with my personal life lately, so this will be the first weekend in a long time where I’ve had the opportunity to sit down and play. Looking forward to beautiful illustrations and fun dialogue – must have a good time!

As always, thanks for reading! Don’t forget to leave us a comment below with your game plans for the weekend!
