Weird and Wonderful ‘Eastward’ DLC list similar to Zelda
Developed by Shanghai-based Pixpil studio, Eastward’s great adventure RPG may be getting DLC in the near future – if SteamDB there is something to go!
A brand new list called East – Octopiawas last updated in SteamDB on February 2nd and was discovered yesterday by a user u/cloudsheep0 on GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit. This will be the first major update to the game since its release on the Switch in October 2021, where it was a console-exclusive for the time being.
Published by Chucklefish, Eastward was a homage to classic top-down adventure games like Zelda, while still featuring the weird and wonderful humor of EarthBound, Undertale and the like. There’s a whole in-game game called Earth Born where you can go through an entire turn-based roguelike and this game is just amazing to watch. Pure pixel art perfection.
Then we won’t be surprised if this DLC list is correct, we could very well see it during today’s Nintendo Direct. Our bingo card didn’t have one, but we’ll be sure to take more to the east.
