Upcoming games and accessories for Nintendo Switch in September and October 2022
Summer is almost over, but a hot selection of exciting upcoming Switch games show no signs of slowing down. Actually september and october lots of excellent editions prepared for us, as you will now see.

Temtem – September 6
There have been a lot of Pokemon-like ones on the Switch lately, and Temtem is the latest to try to tap into your monster-taming nostalgia. The game is a massively multiplayer game with a tried and true formula where you travel across six islands as a Temtem tamer; you will be able to join friends to explore the game in cooperative mode at any time by participating in battles and customizing your character to your liking.
The biggest release of September for Nintendo fans is without a doubt Splatoon 3.
Splatoon 3, the newest entry in the beloved squid shooter series, will give squids and kids a new chance to hit the splash field and grab as much turf as possible. This series has never let us down, so we have high hopes for the upcoming game. You can pre-order below, although additional pre-order options can also be found here.
FIFA 23 – September 30
September wraps up with FIFA 23, EA’s latest football game under the FIFA brand.
As we expected, this year’s Switch release is again a Legacy Edition, meaning it features all of the updated teams, uniforms, and squads, but none of the gameplay improvements seen on other consoles. It’s a shame, but if you just want the latest game to be available to play on the go, pre-orders are now available.
The second installment in Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids series comes to Switch on October 20, as Mario and his friends embark on an all-new galactic journey to explore the planets and rescue their fellow Sparks.
There are many familiar faces in the game’s eclectic roster, but new combat tactics and bosses will have you devising entirely new ways to get the upper hand. We can’t wait to get our hands on this and it won’t be long! Additional pre-order options can also be found here, including the Gold and Cosmic Special Editions.
Finally, eventually Bayonetta 3 comes out October 28. We hope the years of waiting pay off!
The game has both a standard and a special physical edition, with the latter already very hard to find. We keep track of all the links you need in our dedicated pre-order guide, but you’ll want to jump into any Trinity Masquerade Edition promotion when you see one.
Bayonetta travels through different locations in a brand new exciting climactic game. Wearing a sinister new costume and familiar pigtails, the titular Umbra Witch must face a mysterious evil using her signature weapon and time-slowing ability Witchtime. This time Bayonetta’s scope is hit by an artificial bioweapon called a homunculus.
