UK Charts: Two Point Campus Drops Out Of Top Ten, Switch Sales Still Impressive

Image: Sega

The UK charts last week saw Two Point Campus skyrocket on the Switch, with the Nintendo console accounting for a huge percentage of the game’s sales. While Sega’s collegiate sim fell out of the top ten this week (effectively dropping to 14th), Switch has remained the title’s dominant home, with the current sales breakdown as follows:

  • Nintendo Switch – 68%
  • prefix 5 – fourteen%
  • PlayStation 4 – fourteen%
  • Xbox Series X/S – four%

Of course, these numbers only represent physical boxed copies of the game, and they may be slightly skewed due to digital downloads. Still, Nintendo’s dominance in this area is an impressive achievement, especially since digital sales aren’t counted in the numbers.

The Two Point Campus miss left a gaping hole at the top of the UK charts this week, and without any major new releases to fill it, the Nintendo classic has once again taken its place at the top of national sales. Nintendo Switch Sports is now back in second place, with games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Minecraft showing the popularity of multiplayer and replay games.

Enough chit-chat, here’s your take on this week’s UK top ten:
