Twitch bans streamers for simulating ASMR earlicking in yoga pants

A month ago, Twitch responded to the growing popularity of hot tub streams by creating a new category for Pools, Jacuzzis, and Beaches. Since then, another trend has become a hit on Twitch: streamers simulating the sound of earlicking with ASMR microphones while wearing yoga pants. This strangely specific trend is all over Twitch’s ASMR channel, and two of the streamers that dominated it, Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa and Jenelle “Indiefoxx” Dagres, were banned.
Amouranth was at the center of the hot-tub streaming controversy when his streams were demonetized by Twitch and considered “unfriendly to advertisers,” even though they were in Twitch’s content guidelines. Twitch later took a backpedal when he created the channel dedicated to Pools, Hot Tubs and Beaches, saying that, “being found sexy by others is not against our rules, and Twitch will not take enforcement action against it. to women, or anyone at our service, for their perceived appeal. ”
Apparently some of the streams in which Amouranth and Indiefoxx were licking ASMR microphones while wearing tight leggings were against those rules, and both were banned for an unspecified time. Amouranth he tweeted that the ban was good for their OnlyFans, with “587 new subs in OF since the ban just an hour or two ago.”
Meanwhile, its absence and the influx of streamers currently joining the ASMR channel has left Pools, Jacuzzis, and Beaches free to be governed by the waters of the Marine Mammal Rescue Channel, which are currently the most popular live stream in the category.
