Three New Pokemon Featured in Latest Scarlet & Violet Trailer
Today, when the new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet came out, we were expecting to see a couple of new Pokémon among the fields. And we really did, although not for long, and we didn’t have time to get to know them! But don’t worry, we’ve spotted you.
The first, and most obvious, is the star of The Path of Legends, Claude. This is a stone type crab, and a rather large crab. Known as the Ambush Pokémon, this Pokémon is said to have very strong claws that can hold an enemy in one place.
However, we are not sure that it is fur on his legs? Pooh? Sea urchins?
The other two Pokémon are paired and are exclusive opposites. The fiery Armarouge is unique to Scarlet, while the sleek Ceruledge is exclusive to Violet. We had to do a double take to make sure they weren’t Mega Man cameos, but they look very interesting.
Armarouge gets his psychic energy – like the second Fire/Psychic type in the series – from his armor, while the fire/ghost-type Ceruledge armor is full of grudges.
Both Armarouge and Ceruledge can learn some brand new moves – Armor Cannon and Bitter Blade – while Klawf can learn Anger Shell, which debuts in Scarlet & Violet.
So three more new Pokémon are joining the battle? We wonder how many more we will meet, including if more Paldin forms will join our little brown Wooper.
