Moving home sucks. It sounds like the beginning of a thoughtful haiku dedicated to change, but it is not, it is just a fact of life: you have to pack your belongings, clothes and plants and place them all in a series of cardboard boxes – which you never seem to have enough – and then move everything to a new place where you can never enough remembering where teaspoons are stored is a nightmare.
Except there is one really good point: unboxing. At least the first part of the unpacking, in which you have to decide where the kettle is and which cupboard for pots and pans, and you will find that there is a small nook in the bedroom that ideally for a good candle.
This is the essence of unpacking. Transforming your new home into a home is both gratifying and fulfilling: after all, that’s what the whole horrible process was all about. When you’re done unboxing, you can place your various decorations as you like, take a photo and add stickers to it – each photo will be placed in a lovely photo album to commemorate the process.
Unboxing is now available on Nintendo Switch for $ 19.99 / £ 17.99 / € 19.99.
