Many players of the 2014 RPG Might & Magic X – Legacy report that parts of the game from its single DLC, The Falcon and the Unicorn, are no longer accessible after the shutdown of the servers used to verify ownership of the DLC. After the server closed on June 1, players holding the DLC reported that not only were they not able to access the DLC zones, but they were unable to play the game past Act I if it was installed.
The Falcon & The Unicorn DLC is still on sale, on Steam at least, for $ 6.99.
Reports have come out u Steam fori, and also on the Might & Magic Reddit board, by users who can no longer access the game properly. Users who have purchased the deluxe edition of the game, which includes several elements in the game, have as well reported that those are not available.
Entrepreneurial users on Reddit have already found it a script change solution, although you will need to edit the game files to skip the controls and add certain triggers. It’s of dubious legality in some territories, but in particular it’s just brute-force the DLC zones in the game: You can’t go there as part of the story that normally directs you. He’s a pirate under the best.
