The Pokémon Company Targets Fan-Created ‘Pokémon FPS’ YouTube Video

Earlier this week youtuber and coder named The Dragon shared a new Pokémon project they’ve been working on. It’s a first person shooter with Pokemonyes, for real) runs on the Unreal Engine, and in it you have to uh… shoot pocket monsters, not catch them.

Many have already wondered how long it will be before legitimate ninjas hit the scene, and it has now been revealed that YouTube videos of this game (uploaded by the creator) were copyrighted by The Pokémon Company International.

The creator previously mentioned that the project is still in development, and while work is apparently ongoing on it, it looks like there may be some difficulty uploading videos to YouTube from now on. Having said that, you can still find video footage elsewhere on the internet. Dragon also believes that the “Nintendo hitman” will strike quickly if the game is eventually released to the general public.

If you want to shoot on a Monday, you can always try the photography game. New pokemon shot. There’s also a creature shooter called Pal World – on its way to Steam. Are you even surprised to see the TPC taking action against these videos? Leave a comment below.
