Uber funk waiting Jet Set RadioThe vibe-inspired Bomb Rush Cyberfunk festival felt particularly long. We first heard about the game back in 2020, but with its recent postponement to 2023, we’ve come to think there may be more delays. However, hope may be on the horizon.
In a tweet sent @saint_whynn – later retweeted (we’re the closest we’ve come to official approval these days) by the game’s developers, Team Reptile – it looks like the team is on the hunt for voice actors to play this funky music and get into the groovy vibe.
Official Team Reptile Twitter account (@ReptileGames) keeps us up to date with short clips of game mechanics and movement progression since the delay, but this call to VA sheds some light on the project.
We can’t be sure if the transition to voiceover development means that the end of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is near. What we can be sure of is that said development is definitely going in the right direction, which is always a good sign. What’s more, the call gives a lot of people the chance to take part in the game we’ve been looking forward to for a long time – if you have a pipe, why not give it a try?
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is currently due on Switch in 2023. We hope the development is strong enough to make it happen sooner rather than later.
