The First Review For Mario Golf: Super Rush Is Now In

There are plenty of Nintendo Switch games to look forward to, but a next version that is close to the corner is Mario Golf: Super Rush. In fact, it came out next week!

Before the last entry, the famous Japanese publication Famitsu shared the first review of the game. As you already know, this outlet uses a special system where four critics rate the game between one and ten, and then combine the scores together to create a score of 40.

So, how did Super Rush go on the Nintendo Switch? According to a translation courtesy of Nintendo Everything, three critics gave the game an eight out of ten and one rated it nine out of ten – counting the overall score for 33 out of 40.

The new speed golf mode seems to have received good feedback and the adventure mode is also welcome. And like the previous entries, the latter apparently does a nice job highlighting “the best things about golf” and guiding users through its controls.

The previous entry – Mario Golf: World Tour, which was released on the Nintendo 3DS in 2014, scored a better one – 34 out of 40. Two critics gave it eight, and two critics gave it nine out of ten (thank you, Gematsu).

Check out our own Nintendo Life review of Mario Golf: Super Rush later this week. Are you thinking of returning to the fairway? Leave a comment below.
