The first Big Brain Academy update is out now, here’s what’s included

In early December, Nintendo released Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain on the switch. If you did buy it, now is the time to download the first update.

The game is being updated to version 1.1.0 and includes a number of general updates and fixes. Here’s the full details, courtesy of the official Nintendo support page:

Ver. 1.1.0 (released December 23, 2021)

General
  • Added a setting to limit images for things like errors in fast focusing, super fast focusing, fast sorting, and super fast sorting in each mode.
    • After selecting a user, you can go to Options → Creepy Crawls and then select one of the options. Delete or Leave as is
    • In Party, you can choose whether to restrict the display of these images after you select the users to participate.
    Note
    • If you restrict the display of these images, the variety of these actions is reduced.
    • If you restrict the display of these images, only ghosts that also have limited display will show up in Ghost Clash for fast focusing, super fast focusing, fast sorting, and super fast sorting.

  • The Secret button that hides your age has been moved to the screen where you enter your age, to a position where it is easier to find. If you have already created user data, you can select your user, go to the Settings → Age screen and click the Secret button.
  • Added a display when you weren’t given a Ghost ID to see how to get one on the top screen of the Ghost Clash.
  • Fixed a bug in Ghost Clash where the enemy’s ghost would stop.
  • Fixed several other issues to improve gameplay.
