Update [Wed 1st Feb, 2023 11:15 GMT]: Looks like the release date for Super Mario Bros. Movie has been modified in some parts of the world, including the UK. We originally received the upcoming animated film on March 30th, just over a week earlier than in North America. However, Universal Pictures UK has updated the date on their website to April 7which now matches the North American release date.

However, this is not the only date that has been postponed. France will now receive the film on April 5th instead of March 29th. Switzerland, Belgium, Australia and New Zealand will also have to wait until April 5th.

Original article [Wed 30th Nov, 2022 19:00 GMT]: After yesterday’s brand new Mario Movie trailer and a new promotional video released earlier today, we have even more news on the upcoming Illumination animated film about an Italian plumber and his adventures in the Mushroom Kingdom.

As noticed VGKit looks like Movie Super Mario Bros. is receiving an early release in parts of Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South America.

The film will be released on March 22 in Belgium, and Switzerland, Australia and Sweden will be able to watch the film on the 23rd or 24th of the month. France and the UK will receive the film on March 29 and 30 respectively.

Australia and New Zealand will also be able to see the film on March 30, as will most of South America, including Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Paraguay. However, the release dates in the US and Japan have not changed – in North America, the film is scheduled for April 7, and in Japan it will have to wait until April 27.
