Tetris Effect: Connected gets another update on toggle – includes visual and performance optimizations

Nintendo Switch version Tetris Effect: Connected received another update last week – to version 1.2.6.

Full details have now been posted on the official support page, demonstrating optimizations for overall visual quality and performance. Apart from this, there are also a number of fixes and new additions. Here is the complete information:


Tetris Effect: Connected – Version 1.2.6 (November 16, 2021)

[SWITCH] Optimized overall visual quality and performance.

[SWITCH] Fixed an issue in TRAVEL MODE where the frame rate dropped dramatically during certain stages (e.g. YIN and YANG) at the very beginning of the stage.

[SWITCH] Fixed an issue that could cause online matchmaking to fail when exiting sleep mode.

[SWITCH] Adjusted the sensitivity of the analog joysticks (Joy-Con) and Pro Controller.

[SWITCH] Added OFFLINE MODE to OPTIONS> GAME to minimize error messages when playing TRAVEL MODE and EFFECT MODES in airplane mode or offline when this option is enabled.

[SWITCH] Fixed a bug due to which the ratings were not registered in the rating in some cases when playing in TRAVEL MODE and EFFECT MODES and when exiting sleep mode.

[SWITCH] Fixed an issue in LOCAL MATCH where the rumble on additional controllers could get weaker when playing with multiple controllers.

[ALL] Fixed an issue in MULTIPLAYER where the default camera position was further reduced when OPTIONS> GAME> ADJUSTABLE CAMERA was TURNED OFF.

[ALL] Fixed an issue in the CONNECTED / CONNECTED VS that could cause the game to block when the player reached maximum and entered the ZONE at the same time.

[ALL] Fixed an issue in LOCAL MATCH where assigning an UP or DOWN action on an analog stick in PLAYER OPTIONS> CUSTOMIZE CONTROLS would still cause the camera to zoom in or out (along with the new action).

Other minor fixes and fixes.

OTHER

[SWITCH] Changing the Nintendo Switch system clock for the future and publishing your scores in an online multiplayer game and then resetting them may prevent your scores from updating in an online multiplayer game. Please do not change the system clock when playing an online multiplayer game.
