Team Fortress 2 hits the all-time high player after the anti-bot patch

The 2007 free game shooter Team Fortress 2 made a new number of all-time players, with 151,253 people online the UTC evening. Today’s accounts are just as high, with a peak of more than 147,000 online players. This high follows a similar tip to a record in December last year.
The spike in players comes after the game is received a major patch that fights bots which plagues the lobbies of the Fortress 2 team. The same update introduced a cosmetic case for summer 2021-TF2 was one of the first games to have such things, you may remember. The case has 18 new items and six new unusual effects, all made by the TF2 community.
The update, while it appears to have broken many TF2 server mods, has been generally well received by the community. It’s a nice thing to see what happens he could have been the most influential multiplayer shooter of the 21st century it is not only available, but prosperous, going into a new decade.
