Talking Point: What are you playing this Weekend? (June 26)

And here we are at the end of another packed week in the world of video games. We had a bunch of birthdays this past week – specifically on Wednesday when the Nintendo 64 is 25 years old (with its spear-like games Super Mario 64, which we think you may have read enough already), Sonic Adventure 2 20 years, Sonic himself turned 30 years old, and we are all gone away in disgust for the relentless march of Time.
Now it’s time to relax a bit and discuss our weekend game plans. A few marms of the Nintendo Life team have done just below, so feel free to read our posts and then join us on your own via our comments section. Enjoy!

I need to get back into it Metroid: Mission Zero I haven’t had that much time this week; I played it on the Wii U GamePad, which is a fun return. Apparently it’s not too long, so potentially I’ll get into that too Super Metroid via Switch Online also this weekend, enjoy a slow and steady journey through the ‘numbered’ Metroid games. I also announced it Earth Atlantis in a sale with my Gold Points, so I’ll give it a try.
Outside of Nintendo games I will definitely download it Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered through Game Pass, I wouldn’t be rude!

A heavy virtual weekend of street sports. I had a nice joke with SEGA Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Dunk Lords continues on “boomshakalaking”, Mario Golf: Super Rush puts Camelot on the green once again, and according to tradition I’m playing EURO 2020 going on in Virtua Striker 3 v2003 on GameCube. We get to the scary part where only one team advances in each game! It will be pretty awkward when Portugal face England in the decisive match.
The game of the week is The journey of LEGO Builder. Unexpected, calming, brick for days … and absolutely brilliant.

After mocking the idea of a 30th Anniversary Sonic Symphony and assuming it would be none other than Crush 40 banging on life and learning and opening your heart and not letting anyone catch you or keep you down or jump in the parking lot you were watching in the supermarket, etc. , etc., I watched the opening of medleys dedicated to the Mega Drive and Master System games and were struck directly in the direction. So, I’d love to sit down this weekend and go through some old school Sonic games like Tom did little to do that.
I also went on a GBA offer recently and I bought it Sonic Pinball Party, Mario Tennis, and Mom 3, so a quick rush through those wouldn’t hurt, either. I also work my way up Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity DLC, which the first part seems to be a more busy job. This makes the sound deaf and repetitive – and it is a bit dull and repetitive – but the ass kicking in that game is also pretty calming. The second part of the DLC will bring the meaty stuff, I think, but I’m happy to constantly highlight the tasks of this first part for now.

Hello people! I hope you are all well. I finally finished my last run through the Halo series – hey! I’m sincerely tempted to go back and try a LASO run, but I don’t think I’ll be ready to submit to that alone. Perhaps closer to the launch of Infinite, we’ll see.
Elsewhere, I’m still on my knees in Metroid at the moment; They are about halfway there Samus Returns, and it makes me so that excited to finally play Metroid Dread! Have a good one, everything!

This week has been VERY busy: I’ve played [REDACTED] and [CENSORED] and even a little bit of [NDA]. Wait, why aren’t any of the game titles coming up?
I’m kidding. There are a few games this week that I won’t be able to talk about for a while! But, of course, I’ve always been chasing away The House In Fairy Morgana, and out of work, I played Chicory. I’m pretty prejudiced, since I know a lot of people who have worked there, but it’s such a good game. Imagine yes Art Academy it even made you cry. I hope you come to Change one day to be able to face for reality!
As always, thanks for reading! Be sure to leave a comment below with your game choices in the coming days …
