Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for its upcoming RPG Tales of Symphonia Remastered, which is due out February 17, 2023.

Focusing on the story, the new trailer showcases Lloyd Irving and a group of his friends against some very dramatic music. Good. The original game, first released for the GameCube in 2003, received positive reviews from critics and strong sales. A sequel, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, was released on the Wii a few years later in 2008.

The remaster was announced just a couple of months ago and features many quality-of-life improvements. When asked what exactly this entails, Bandai Namco confirmed the following:

“Players can look forward to a sharper, crisper in-game experience compared to our previous TALES ABOUT THE SYMPHONY CHRONICLES and Steam releases, including improved character models and environments such as the city and the outside world.

The control of the Elemental Cargo ship has also been improved so that players can easily navigate the seas. Other improvements made include skipping events and cutscenes, more information on the save screen, and minor quality-of-life improvements.”
