Star Wars: KOTOR II Switch DLC appears to have missed the release window
Officially, October, and technically, the third quarter of 2022 is behind us. While this may not seem like a big deal, it has become a topic of discussion for Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II fans who have purchased the Switch. game version.
Shortly after the June 8th launch, Aspyr mentioned in his Official site as the Sith Lord add-on for KOTOR II on Nintendo Switch will be released by the third quarter of 2022:
When will this DLC be available?: “This DLC will be released in the third quarter of 2022.”
Players are wondering on social media platforms such as facebookTwitter and Reddit what’s going on – with a little describing Aspyr’s post as “completely radio-free” for the past few months and noting that he “officially missed” his own deadline. Here is just a small sample:

Aspyr has reportedly been dropped from the KOTOR remake project in recent months. According to the story bloombergEmbracer Group now has Eastern European studio Saber Interactive working on this game.
Whenever the Sith Lords Restored Content expansion is released, it will be available as “free downloadable content” on the Nintendo Switch eShop. It comes with additional missions, dialogue options, encounters, and more. Here’s a summary from the Aspyr website:
– New mission HK Factory Factory – Play as your HK-47 droid friend and explore the mysterious HK factory under the Telos military base.
– New revised ending – Experience the last level in a new way, with more active interaction between your party members and additional focus on your past choices.
– Lively crew conversations – Get to know your crew aboard the Ebon Hawk even better with additional dialogues and interactions.
– Bonus quests and challenges – Discover even more quests and combat encounters scattered across different planets across the galaxy for an extra challenge.
It’s worth noting that base game save files will not be compatible with The Sith Lords Restored Content DLC, but players will still be able to access previous saves by disabling DLC content in the main menu. You can read more about this in our previous article.
