Square Enix planning "Several new titles" And a new IP

After the drop in sales.

Square Enix has done well on the Nintendo Switch over the past year with releases like Live A Live, NieR:Automata, Tactics Ogre: Reborn, and most recently Crisis Core, but that didn’t seem to be enough. The Japanese publisher and developer reported a drop in net sales over the latest financial results period (through December 31, 2022).

Even though net sales fell to 255 billion yen (a drop of almost 7% year on year), the company still has big plans for the future – teasing “a lot of new games”, including games with brand new intellectual property.
