Other changes

  • We noticed changes after the distribution of version 5.4.0 and made additional adjustments to slightly reduce the combat power of some weapons that could hold the battle line at a great distance.
  • In addition, we have made adjustments to narrow the range of buffs for certain weapons in version 5.4.0, as well as to reduce the frequency of triggering of special weapons. At the same time, we have broadened the choice of weapons, increasing the capabilities of certain weapons that work best at closer ranges.
  • In addition, we looked at some weapons that were previously downgraded, and as a result, we slightly reversed some of the downgrades and made some adjustments to the points required for special weapons.
  • We’ll be watching over the changes following this update and making further adjustments to Splatoon 2 in the future.
  • Once you download the latest update data, you will no longer be able to communicate in The Shoal with players using the old update data.
    • This update also includes changes not listed here, such as gameplay improvements.
    • Enough space is required in the internal system memory or microSD card to download the update.
    • The saved data will continue to be available for use after downloading the update.
