Solar Ash Release Date Revealed In Annapurna Showcase

It’s been a little over a year since Heart Machine’s second project, Solar Ash, was unveiled during the Sony PlayStation 5 presentation, but the anticipation for this fast-paced interstellar adventure is almost over. The long-awaited release date for the game was officially announced today during the interactive demo of Annapurna, and it is only a few months away.

The Solar Ash trailer didn’t reveal many details about the game’s world or history, but included one piece of information we’ve been waiting for all year, on launch day. When Solar Ash launches on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 26, you’ll be able to fight, weave, and fight your way through space.

The anticipated title Heart Machine was just one of the highlights of today’s indie publisher’s show, which was chock-full of great games. Visually stunning members included games like The Artful Escape, educational rock in which you play as a musician hoping to make a name for himself despite feeling overshadowed by your famous uncle’s legacy. Neon White, a game from Donut County creator Ben Esposito, unveiled earlier this year, was also welcome. A first-person shooter meets a card game that tells the story of a demon assassin who makes his deadly deal in an attempt to conquer a place in heaven.

If you missed the latest news on the upcoming Heart Machine game, we last saw Solar Ash back in June at the Summer Game Fest. The footage showed more game-specific figure skating passes and some serious fights. The June trailer features a massive flying example of the world’s biggest enemies, the Remnants, which Rey destroys while quickly moving from one weak point to the next. In her quest to save her home from the all-consuming danger of the Ultraboloid, Rey – a fearless runner through the void – will face several of these titanic enemies.

Still not full of sun ash? We’ve prepared for you this take on the game that came out of Sony State of Play earlier this year. Solar Ash will be released on October 26 on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
