Shredder’s Revenge Meets Murder Mystery in ‘BROK The InvestiGator’ Coming This Winter

If Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge got you hooked on reptile games, then we have a treat for you. COWCAT Games has announced that point-and-click adventure-based hybrid game BROK the InvestiGator is coming to Switch this winter.

The game is releasing on Steam later this month (August 26, to be exact), and the new trailer got us excited as the mystery enters the handheld world.

Unlike the straightforward Shredder’s Revenge celebration we know and love, BROK promises that adventure and mystery will be the driving force behind the game. Think Disney Zootopia meets Crazy Max as the game follows an alligator detective forced to investigate a mystery in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Looking at the trailer above, it seems like how punchy you become is entirely up to you, which finally answers the question: what if Professor Layton threw his hands up?

To see all the features of the game, check out the official COWCAT synopsis below:

A deep and emotional experience with a rich narrative filled with characters reminiscent of classic cartoons from the 80s and 90s.

The first game to combine classic adventure with Beat ’em up and RPG elements!

– Solve puzzles with your mind…or your muscles!
– Make choices that affect gameplay and/or story
– Easy mode for pure “Point & Click” gameplay (battles can be skipped)
– Level up to defeat enemies and bosses
– Combine clues to uncover the truth!
– Hints in the game
– Two playable characters, switch at any time
– 15-20 hours for the first playthrough
– Several different endings to unlock
– Full voice acting (23,000 lines)
– All controls supported (mouse, keyboard or controller)

While we don’t have an official Switch release date yet, the winter window promises a lot of “alligators” for those cozy nights.
