Sega is putting a lot of emphasis on Sonic’s next core game, Sonic Frontiers. In addition to making the tough decision to postpone the release to “refresh the quality” of the title, it has also been added to additional features to make the experience more accessible to everyone.
As part of this, the new game Sonic will expand its localization offerings – with even more languages supported in both voice acting and subtitling. Here’s the full rundown, courtesy of Sonic the Hedgehog’s official Twitter account. Note: * Xbox and PC only.
Sonic Social Media Manager, Katie Hjanowski went on to explain how many of the internal teams at Sega “pushed hard” for all the different localization options, and greeted all the localization teams as she went about it:
“Thank you very much that this time we were able to add more languages (thanks also to the localization teams – unsung heroes!”).
Sonic Frontiers will launch on multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, during the 2022 holiday season.
