Sega Releases New Sonic Origins Gameplay Footage Coming to Switch This June

Sonic Origins is coming to Nintendo Switch next month, and if you’re itching to see more footage from Bluespot’s new 4-in-1 collection, you’ve come to the right place.
Sega shared new footage from the game during a Rulicon livestream in South Korea over the weekend. It showcases the in-game menu, Anniversary Mode, and gives fans a glimpse of the original. Sonic the Hedgehog you can also see a bit more featuring Knuckles, Tails and Super Sonic.
Fan and news site tailings channel also shared some additional details (via social media), noting that there is a dedicated button for superforms, a “new blue orb mode” and that the Drop Dash move is exclusive to the game’s Anniversary mode.

And, in case you’re wondering, there are currently “no plans” for a physical release, but Sega has been informed of the demand. So for now, you just need to buy a digital copy from the Switch Web Store (or other digital platforms) if you want to play this collection when it arrives on June 23rd.
