Rumor: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Switch OLED Could Be Officially Revealed Today
Get your pinches of salt ready, because it’s time to dive into the world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED again.
Do you remember that one. This is a white-gold-green number that was first rumored in late 2022 before resurfacing last month thanks to some overlap with the game’s Collector’s Edition bundle. Well, the design became popular again after a GameStop employee Reddit to state that the console could be officially unveiled today (thanks, VGK).
Under a Reddit username SecretSantaSeven, a staff member stated that a new Switch SKU went live on the GameStop system yesterday, perfect for the official announcement of the 10-minute gameplay trailer scheduled for today, right? Well, maybe…
User even posted a photo the internal system of the store, which does show some upcoming Switch hardware, although there’s no release date nor any evidence that the release will be tied to Tears of the Kingdom – hey, those are the rumors for you.
The timing of this seems convenient with today’s trailer drop, it’s true, but it’s far from any confirmation at this point. We’ll just have to wait and see what the gameplay presentation brings…
