Rumors were confirmed yesterday when a 2D fighting game from Atlus and Arc System Works Persona 4 Arena Ultimax was officially announced for the Nintendo Switch and a host of other modern platforms.
Now, in an interesting update, the same leader who teased this announcement ahead of its official disclosure claims that Persona 3 Portable will receive a “multiplatform” remaster. This is exactly what Zippo said. new post on their blog:

While this may all sound a little unexpected, Atlus is currently celebrating 25 years of Persona. Seven project announcements are also reported to commemorate this special event.
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable is an improved port of the original PlayStation 2 game, first released on the PlayStation Portable in 2009. It introduced various new features, including the ability to play as the main character.
