Square Enix has been revamping a lot of its old RPGs in recent years, and if the new online listing is anything special, it seems Final fantasy tactics the series can also be returned.

This is according to the archived page at online store Instant Gaming… The remaster will appear to be released on the Epic Games platform and will have a 2023 placeholder. The date has been narrowed down to Feb 1, 2022 – a date derived from Nvidia GeForce GitHub Leaks Page, shared the creator of SteamDB Pavel Dzhundik.

Moreover, on Final Fantasy Tactics Subsection, the user claims to have recently received a survey invitation from Eidos-Montreal, in which he was asked if they played FFT and some other tactical RPGs:

“I just got an invitation to test Eidos-Montreal (which also allows Square Enix games to be tested in general) and everything seems to indicate that they are testing tactics. They asked if I had played Fire Emblem, FF Tactics, Ogre Battle, Disgaea, Into the Breach, etc. At first I thought it was about Triangle Strategy, but although they didn’t ask if I had played Octopath, they asked , have I played FF12 and this sequel to DS … the only non-tactical FF games that take place in Ivalice. They also asked if I played FF Tactics PS1. And if I played the iOS / Android version, which seemed odd, they never ask for multiple versions of the same game. “

As you remember, back in September there was a huge Nvidia GeForce PC database leak. Nvidia said at the time that the games presented were “speculative titles.” And yes, Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster was on the list, along with tons of other Square Enix games.

Of course, there is no mention of a Nintendo Switch release here, but Square Enix seems to be porting most of these classic RPGs to a hybrid system, so if the above list is legal, there’s a good chance it will be released on Nintendo hardware. … You can check the alleged Nvidia GeForce database leak in our previous post:
