Conservation equipment – Every piece of equipment found, bought or stolen is a permanent unique improvement for each character. Instead of buying a replacement, the player buys upgrades. No more buying this awesome helmet in town just to stumble upon the best one as a dungeon treasure. Each character has 3 gear slots with 8 upgrades each for a total of 192. This system avoids tedious inventory management while also giving the recruiter something useful to find.
