Released Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 Curved Gaming Monitor with Quantum Mini LED Technology

Samsung has unveiled the world’s first mini LED-backlit gaming monitor, the Odyssey Neo G9, featuring quantum matrix technology. The gaming monitor features a curved display and Quantum HDR 2000 technology for an immersive gaming experience. This monitor is the successor to the Odyssey G9 launched last year. The new Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 uses Quantum Mini LED technology. At 1/40 the height of a conventional LED, the Quantum Mini LED has thin microlayers filled with a few more LEDs.

Samsung’s new Odyssey Neo G9 curved gaming monitor with Quantum Mini LED will be available for pre-orders starting July 29th and will go on sale worldwide on August 9th. Although Samsung did not list a price on its Web site however, The Verge reports that the gaming monitor will cost $ 2,499.99 (roughly Rs 1.86,300).

Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is equipped with an ultra-wide 49-inch Dual Quad HD (5120 × 1440 pixels) display with HDR10 + support, an aspect ratio of 32: 9, a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 1 ms. It has a 178-degree viewing angle, 12-bit gradation for better light source control, and the Quantum Mini LED display has 2048 dimming zones. The Quantum HDR 2000 offers a maximum brightness of 2000 nits, with VDE (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker) certification, along with a static contrast ratio of 1,000,000: 1. The 1000R monitor has a TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification.

In addition, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 comes with adaptive sync to DP1.4 and HDMI2.1 VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) over HDMI 2.1. It also supports NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for a better gaming experience. Gaming features include Screen Size Optimizer, Black Equalizer, Low Input Latency Mode, Refresh Rate Optimizer, and Super Arena Gaming UX.

The display features a glossy white chassis, 52-color Infinity Core backlighting and five lighting effects. The monitor also features CoreSync for customizing multiple color modes.
