Yes, your eyes don’t deceive you – the Wii Shop Channel and the DSi Shop are finally available again after suffering from crashes for several months.
The stores were first registered as standalone back in March. Then, in May, GameXplain turned to Nintendo, which said it had “nothing to announce”, but thanks to Nintendo All, now we know that both stores are working again. We can all listen to this jingle again in time for the Wii Shop on Wednesday!
Don’t forget, while stores are back, you can’t buy anything from them as Nintendo closed the Wii and DSi stores in 2019 and 2017 respectively. But access to the store means Wii and DSi owners can now re-download any games they’ve purchased before.
Then normal service will resume!
