Redout 2 is slowing down and delaying release, it’s now out in June

Redout 2 is definitely a game for futuristic racing enthusiasts like Destroy and F-zero; for this sequel, Saber Interactive is publishing and working with developer 34BigThings.

The new entry will aim to provide a step up from its predecessor with features such as an “extensive career mode” as well as competitive online play; the latter will be limited to six players on Switch, as opposed to 12 on other platforms.

It was originally supposed to come out on May 26 but is now delayed; it will now arrive on June 16, so it won’t be long to wait.

It will be interesting to see how this racing sequel performs on the Nintendo system; we’ll find out in a few weeks.
