Random: You can (kind of) thank Toby Fox for Sakurai’s English YouTube channel
A few months ago, Masahiro Sakurai opened YouTube channels in English and Japanese dedicated to video game development.
In an update to his YouTube social media, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate told how Undertale and creator Toby Fox Something like played a part in this process. Toby gave the details to a localization company called 8-4, which is known for its work on English localization as well as Japanese translation of games.
This is not the only news we’ve heard about Toby Fox and Masahiro Sakurai lately. It was revealed last month that the Undertale creator would replace Sakurai as the writer for the Weekly Famitsu column.
Sakurai recently passed a number of milestones on his YouTube channel. His Twitter account now also has over a million followers. And Toby Fox is currently working on his new game Deltarune. Unfortunately, this year we will not see new chapters.
