Welcome to the theory corner, folks. Put on your tinfoil hat and grab some tinfoil popcorn, because today we’re going to delve into the twisted, twisted, completely speculative Pokemon lore.

Of course, this is a story after the game, so please… If you haven’t beaten the game yet or don’t want to know about possible updates and DLC, then read no further!

With that in mind, let’s take a look at the swirling void of spoilers that make up this latest Scarlet and Violet Pokémon theory.

Easy version: It looks like there is a secret in Area Zero Pokémon ScarVi. Is it a Pokemon? New area? Discovery about Paldea’s past? All of the above?! No one knows. For now.

Harder version: The Pokémon player known as SkabRabbit on Twitter talked about some revelations in Scarlet and Violet that seem to hint at the existence of some additional post-game content, possibly DLC. By matching the in-game history books to the artifacts found in Zone Zero, the community believes they’ve found hints of… something. They just aren’t sure.

In Professor Turo’s lab, there are references to a disk-shaped creature made up of “layers of overlapping hexagons” that may or may not be a Pokémon – it certainly doesn’t match the appearance of any known “mon”. The game assumes that this creature is the cause of the terastallization. But this is only the surface level. It goes deeper.

Looking at the available information in the game, The SkabRabbit shows the recurrence of the number four – four destructive Pokémon, four title screen symbols, four co-op players, four missed entries in the Hall of Fame, four laps in strange metal. plate in Zone Zero…

… it all seems to be well connected. Except there are a few more loose threads. First, there are puzzling artworks in Artazone not created by Brassius, all of which seem to be based on themes of paradox, time, and strange geometry.

And there is a Poco Path lighthouse that you can visit after the game. It looks like it has been abandoned for a long time, and yet, there are signs that the kitchen has been recently used. Used by whom?

SkabRabbit also believes that there may be some correlation between the Area Zero symbol and the map itself, as when overlaid, it appears to match the location of the settlements on the map itself.

Of course, this could all just be speculation. But it is possible that the lormeisters from Game Freak are planning something big. Remember Braille puzzle in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire What did Regis unlock? Or Ruins of Alpha in gold and silver? Even in Scarlet & Violet, it turns out that Team Star has an easter egg that shows the designers had secrets in mind.

We wouldn’t be surprised if this whole story of sandwiches, art and circles lays the groundwork for a future DLC with new legendary items, but we don’t have solid answers yet…just questions.
