Random: Find out how the Cheshire Demon from Bayonetta 3 was brought to life

One of the most surprising additions to Bayonetta 3 (and for some, one of the most controversial) was the inclusion of Viola, a brand new playable character who looks and feels completely different from the main character we’re all familiar with. Next to Viola is her faithful companion Cheshire, an infernal demon forever bound to Viola’s sword.

With a wild appearance and comical, light-hearted personality, Cheshire is undoubtedly one of the coolest additions to the franchise (although he technically appeared in puppet form before Bayonetta 3), and the good news is that we’re getting even more familiar with the character. when Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon launches on Switch on March 17, 2023.

PlatinumGames recently showcased a number of behind the scenes videos on YouTubedemonstrating the work that goes into creating the world of Bayonetta 3. We’ve got 15 videos in total, but since we’ll be spending a lot more time with Cheshire in a couple of months, we thought we might be wise to highlight this one in particular.
