Many fans saw Pokémon Scarlet and Violet as an opportunity to get creative. We’ve seen people discover Shiny ‘mon by searching walls, racing across Paldea with controller hacks, and even reaching goals as a group by jumping across rooftops. But the level of creativity we noticed from one fan (thank you, Go Nintendo) has much less to do with the use of breaks in the game and more with attention to design.
Last week, Reddit user u/reggtegg reached out to p/pokemon channel to share their new Switch Dock enclosure, which looks just like one of the Pokemon hubs in the Sinnoh region. One look at the images below and we can’t get that annoying theme song out of our heads, but we have to admit that the 3D printed model is pretty darn accurate.
Usually the sight of such creative people fills us with an initial surge of joy before the inevitable descent into the realization that we could never build something so detailed on our own. Luckily, things are different this time as the creator has announced that they are now finalizing the design and will be putting it up for sale soon!
Confirmed in a comment on the original post, reggtegg thanked people for their compliments before stating that they would be listing the Dock body as an item on their Etsy page (makerHideout) “next week or so”.
This look might be a little bigger than the comparably slim design we’ve seen on the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Switch OLED, but hey, if you’re a fourth-gen fan, then why not scream if from the rooftops?
