Random: An Official Animal Cross Rally Opens In A Japanese Aquarium

Next in our ongoing series of ‘Japan receives all the best‘, a Japanese aquarium welcomes an officer (and completely out of real life) Animal Crossing: New Horizons summer event partly based on Blathers Day Stamp Meeting.

Yes, it looks like Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise is hosting an event from July 12 to August 31 (thank you, Animal Crossing World) and park visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a fishing tournament with CJ, win stickers with CJ and Pascal (the comb-loving otter), and even fill out a Stamp Rally book with a few stamps of the countrymen as they wander watching the marine life.

According to in the website, apparently there is an amiibo card and a poster available in a joint promotion with the My Nintendo site (in Japan, remember).

Let’s take a brief eager look at what you could have gained if you didn’t live in a country other than Japan and you can visit the Yokohama area for the next few months …

There’s also an associated Dream Address code that will take you to a custom-made island in Paradise on the Sea if you want to participate – you don’t have to be in Japan for that! It’s not as impressive as some Dream Address Islands that we have seen, but we’ve seen worse:
