A company as big as Nintendo would never release any of their biggest games before their official release, right? But what if Paper Mario, Metroid Dread, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and currentlySplatoon 3 is all it takes, we would err on the side of caution and have these barricades of spoilers ready.
Last week we reported that the story of Splatoon 3 appeared in some sections of Reddit thanks to early releases of the game that appeared on the network. We are well aware that this information may have passed over some Octoling fans, which is why we are here to celebrate once and for all, Splatoon Spoiler Season on us.
With only a few days left until the game is officially released on Switch on September 9th, we don’t want any of you lovely people to lose this opportunity for a new game due to a fraudulent screenshot or clip slipping through your schedule. Along with the usual precautions to stay away from these spoilers (obvious things like avoiding walkthrough videos, etc.), we also suggest using Twitter’s helpful mute feature to possibly get rid of everything related to “Splatoon”, “Splatoon 3” and similar content. to ensure that no spoilers get through to your peeps.
Avoiding spoilers is an imprecise art, and we know how painful it is to turn your back on all the news for months only to have key content appear in your feed the day before release; but the end is near, fellow Splatters. There are only a few short days left before you can finally experience the game in a state of complete originality – just be sure to save the spoilers until then!
